Nationaal Europass Centrum

Europass is an initiative of the European Commission to facilitate the mobility of employees within Europe. Making qualifications and competences transparent is essential. Europass consists of a set of documents which show someone's professional background and competencies. The most prominent Europass document is the Europass CV, DUO (former IB-Groep) has been appointed as Nationaal Europass Centrum (NEC NL).

Within the Netherlands there are 9 organisations joined with the Europass Consortium. These are: Colo, Europees Platform, HBO Raad, IB-Groep, DUO, Leonardo Da Vinci, MBO Raad, Nuffic, VSNU and UWV WERKbedrijf. In the Netherlands the NEC has been outsources as a project to DUO – IB Groep.
